Sönke KIRCHHOF

Sönke Kirchhof works as a producer, director, stereographer and consultant. He is also a sought-after instructor for workshops and lectures @  Universities and private Academys.
reallifefilm international GmbH produces feature films, documentaries, commercials and live broadcast content. INVR.SPACE GmbH produces the same genres – but focused on 360° Video, VR and AR / MR formats.

Sönke studied “Political Sciences » (University of Hamburg) and “Film and TV Production” at the Film University Babelsberg (HFF Konrad Wolf – since 2015: University of Film Potsdam – Babelsberg), where he focused on immersive media & stereoscopic 3D.

He is VP of the Association of XR4EU and Member of the Board of VRBB and EDFVR, the goto associations for XR in Europe, Germany and Germanys Capitol region.

In this millenium, he worked on more than 1000 Projects for Cinema, TV, Virtual and Augmented Reality (XR) as well as streaming to mobile and Ip based devices. 

Sönke Kirchhof was one of the first founders of internet TV stations in Germany in 2005, broadcasting via IP from Hamburg all over the world. In 2006 he founded reallifefilm international GmbH (rlf), a Company highly specialiced in stereoscopic (S3D) filmmaking from development to postproduction, VFX and Research & Development of technologies. In quintessence to working on immersive projects as well as exploring innovative creative fields and technology standarts, he co – founded INVR.SPACE GmbH in 2015.
