Samy Lamouti is a multidisciplinary digital artist , designer and technologist. His involvement in art & technology projects took him in various roles from creative director, designer, editor, to technical director. Samy worked on movies VFX like Blade Runner 2048, Alien: Covenant, or Doctor Strange.
He graduated from NAD School of Digital Arts, Animation and Design in Montréal, Canada. Since then, he has worked on numerous projects from architectural projections, immersive installation, planetariums, to holograms around the world, and has given talks in many major events like the Vancouver VIFF, Algiers ComicCon, Frankufrt Art+, Montréal Printemps Numérique…
He is now the Technical Director at Neweb Labs in Montréal, focussing on holograms, real-time renders, and interactive characters.
