Rosemarie de la cruz Bernabe

Rosemarie De la Cruz Bernabe is a professor of medical research ethics at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) and a researcher of medical ethics at the University of Oslo (UiO).

She is also the administrative coordinator of the I-merse Group. I-merse an interdisciplinary research group with an aim to advance equitable and effective utilization of immersive environments in education, the public and commercial sectors, and society as a whole. At the same time, Rose is the principal investigator of the Horizon 2020 (EDCTP) project, « Improving post-trial access arrangements in clinical trials in Sub-Saharan Africa » (AccessAfrica) and the co-project coordinator of the Horizon 2020 project, Responsible Open Science in Europe (ROSiE).

Rose’s research interests include ethical issues in immersive technologies, stakeholder involvement in medical research processes, post-clinical trial access, intersection of regulatory science and research ethics, and global research ethics.
