Jill BOYCE

Jill Boyce is CEO and Founder of Vimmerse, Inc., a startup company providing a platform and tools for creation and sharing of immersive video, an XR immersive visual experience in which the viewer navigates a dynamic 3D scene from different positions and orientations. She was named an IEEE Fellow in 2019 for contributions to video coding, and is the lead editor of the MPEG-I Immersive Video standard. She also serves in a part-time capacity as Intel Fellow, Media Architecture and Roadmap, and previously was Chief Media Architect at Intel. She was previously Director of Algorithms at Vidyo and VP of Research & Innovation at Technicolor. She has an MS in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, BS in Electrical Engineering University of Kansas, and attended the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
