Cristiana-Anca VOINOV is an ethicist and doctoral research candidate with the I-Merse Research Group at the University of South-Eastern Norway, studying the relationship between morality and immersive technologies. She is also a part of the ROSiE Project (Responsible Open Science in Europe), interrogating knowledge production and dissemination. More generally, her work attempts at linking philosophy – typically an academic enterprise predicated on theory-building – to the public sphere. That is, she is interested in what theory means to practice and vice-versa. She holds an Honours BA in philosophy from the University of Toronto, and an MPhil from the University of Oslo’s Centre for Development and the Environment.
